American Automobile Association estimates 85 percent of the gas stations in the Nashville area are dry. Lines of vehicles wrapped around parking lots and down our interstates to get the 5 gallon ration that was allowed per car - even after waiting hours to get any gas at all.
People crisscrossed the city, pulling in and out of gas stations where gas nozzles were covered, indicating that the station was out of fuel.
It is pretty scary to think that we could go all weekend with NO GAS! Luckily Ed and I both had a half of a tank on Friday. The news reported today that a few gas trucks had come to Nashville and is providing the much needed gas for Nashvillians.
I have never seen anything like this before! pretty scary feeling!
