Nicknames

Cassandra is the only nickname that I ever had. When I was the quality control manager in the mammography department where I worked, the radiologist there would say, 'here comes Cassandra!" The name means - better of bad tidings. When I had to meet with him - it was usually because there was a problem. I have never had any other nickname.

Sissy is a nickname that evolved over time for my youngest daughter - I don't think I know how or why it evolved but still sticks with her even today.

When I asked Ed about his nickname he said that he was called Edong. Auntie Becky -in Canada use to call him that and some of his friends, but he can't remember why it evolved either.
